British Wool Competition
The competition is open to individuals and groups alike, and the aim is to highlight the many uses that our British wool can be put to.
All entries must use British Wool as its main component.
The competition is free to enter, and prizes (To be announced later) will be given to the 10 best entries.
Please tell us in less than 35 words how your entry has been made, and provide details of any breed specific wool that has been used. Eg. Hat knitted in British Shetland Wool.
Entry forms can be submitted online, or posted/dropped off at Llandovery Sheep Festival ‘Wool Competition’ The Pod Space. Kings Road, Llandovery Carmarthenshire. SA20 0AW. Closing date of entry is 25th July 2022.
All items entered into the competition must be either sent, or dropped off at the above address on either Friday 5th August, or Monday 8th August, between the hours of 10am-2pm.
You will need to make arrangements to collect your entry on Sunday 18th September between 3.30pm-5pm (unless you have previously made special arrangements with us)
By entering the competition, you agree to us displaying your entry, if chosen, over the festival weekend. Whilst every effort will be made to protect your entry from damage or loss, we cannot take responsibility should this occur.
The decision of the judges is final.
We reserve the right to use photographs of your entry in any future promotional material for the Llandovery Sheep Festival.
