General Exhibitor FAQS

How many visitors attend your events?

Around 5,000 people attend the Festival and the numbers increase each year.

How do I apply and when is the application deadline?

Applications for the Llandovery Sheep Festival 2019 close on 30 April 2020.

If space is still available after that date, the booking process will be re-opened, but there will be a £15 late booking supplement.   Late bookings will only be successful if the trader offers something unique that is not already booked.

How does the selection process work?

Fully completed application forms submitted with all of the required documentation and payment are considered by a selection committee.

Successful exhibitors will receive a brief offer acceptance email on Monday 4th May 2020 with further details to follow later in the year.   Unsuccessful exhibitors will receive a notification email and full refund.

Late bookings will be reviewed weekly and applicants will be informed if they have been successful or unsuccessful.

What are your selection criteria?

Our Festival is a celebration of our community, its droving traditions, and sheep farming.

The sheep festival is a showcase for high-quality artisan food, drink & crafts from all over the UK. Our aim is to feature stalls who  fit our key criteria of quality, taste and sustainability. We favour farmers, producers and stallholders who are passionate about their produce and have a great story to share. To that end, we always look for strong local and Welsh exhibitors as well as unusual, interesting quality exhibitors from across the UK at the Sheep Festival.
