11am - Alison Pearson
Alison will be demonstrating how to make an autumn flower arrangement in a pumpkin, which will be perfect for Halloween. Alison will also be giving away tips and tricks of the flower arranging trade.
12.00pm - Hidden Treasures In our forests.
Wildlife Trust Red Squirrel Officer Becky Hulme will give a talk about the Red Squirrels in and around the Tywi Forest. Becky will explain how the threatened Red Squirrel has managed to survive deep in our forests and the action that local people are taking to help improve conditions for this iconic native species.
1.30pm - Baavet.
The story of the Welsh Baavet business that produces British wool duvets and pillows, and also tells us about the benefits of using wool in our homes.
2.30pm - Alison Wakemen
Alison Wakeman from Alison’s Bee Class, will be letting us all know why bees are so important to the environment, how they live in their colonies and how they produce honey.
3:30pm - Shetland Sheep Soc
Shetland sheep society, area representative Michelle Thomas, will be letting us all know about the merits of this native breed of sheep. About how this friendly, once endangered Native breed has risen to become a popular choice for those wanting an all round ewe - great for meat production, conservation grazing, valuable fleece and character.
