A bagad is a Breton band, composed of bagpipes, bombards and drums. The musicians are travelling from their hometown of Pluguffan in Brittany and will be joined by Cor Meibion Llanymddyfri. Together they will perform a collection of traditional Breton and Welsh music.

Llandovery has been twinned with Pluguffan since 1984 and the Sheep Festival is proud to include them in its programme of events.
